Most people are familiar with, or have at least heard of, the “7 deadly sins.” But while the Scriptures never talk about seven deadly sins, the Bible does provide a list of seven things that are detestable to God – sins which are increasingly prevalent in our culture today.

This course, led by Pastor John Amanchukwu, takes you on a journey through Proverbs 6:16-19 to uncover the wisdom embedded in Scriptures, relating it to the issues of the day and encouraging others to seek the enduring truth, peace, and unity that’s found in Christ alone. You’ll discover sin can manifest n your life, how they permeate our culture today, and how you can walk a different path that reflects the attitude of Christ.

Each video session includes a companion PDF with thought-provoking questions and relevant Scripture references to reinforce what you’ve learned, as well as a journaling section for notes. Finally, you’ll take a quick 5-question quiz after each session to further cement what you’ve learned

We hope you enjoy this course and find ways to apply what you’ve learned to affect change in your family, your community, and our great nation.

Pastor John K. Amanchukwu Sr. is an influential preacher, author, and activist who spreads God’s truth zealously and without fear. Pastor John graduated from North Carolina State University where he played football under Coach Chuck Amato. A fierce competitor during his time on the gridiron, Pastor John brings the same zeal to his ministry today as he fearlessly stands for biblical truth.

Pastor John is a strong advocate for the unborn. For twelve years he ministered outside one of the busiest abortion clinics in the Southeast, including leading a 40-week prayer walk. His heart breaks for the impact of abortion in America, especially in the Black community.

Along with preaching across the country, Pastor John has been the featured guest on numerous talk shows, including Tucker Carlson Tonight, The Charlie Kirk Show, Rob Schmitt Tonight, Daystar’s Ministry Now with Joni Lamb, The Eric Metaxas Radio Show, The Jenna Ellis Show, and the Steadfast and Loyal Podcast with Allen West.

He’s the Amazon best-selling author of Eraced: Uncovering the Lies of Critical Race Theory and Abortion. This book has inspired a movement among parents and educators across the country to fight back against CRT, intersectionality, queer theory, gender theory, and other godless doctrines in public schools. As a strong proponent of school choice, Pastor John speaks to school boards across the country with a convicting message that calls for schools to focus on education, rather than indoctrination.

He is the First Assistant and Youth & Young Adult Pastor at the Upper Room Church of God in Christ. A devoted family man, Pastor John and his wife Crystal have been married for 15 years and live in Wake Forest, NC, with their three beautiful children.
